Art is a fusion of personal experiences, environment, creativity and an opportunity to express ones thoughts and feelings visually. I convey my feelings and emotions through the use of colour, creating beautiful, thought- provoking works.
I use non-representational imagery to depict an object by distorting colour and form. I have been inspired by such artists as Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock and the Group of Seven. My main medium is acrylics on canvas.
My goal as an artist is to be able to share a part of my life with others in hopes that my paintings can mediate directly between the viewer and what I perceive.
